Champlain Cable acquires Umbilicals International

Champlain Cable, a premier manufacturer of irradiated, specialty wire and cable products for harsh environments and demanding applications, announces the acquisition of Umbilicals International, a Seanamic Group (Aberdeen, Scotland) business and will maintain its headquarters in Stafford, Texas. The Company will continue as Umbilicals International and operate out of their facilities in Stafford and Channelview, Texas.
The addition of Umbilicals International to the Champlain Cable Group will strengthen its commitment to custom designed cables for harsh and demanding environments. The entire Champlain Cable Group will now have extensive cable design and manufacturing capability for a broad coverage of markets and applications.
