If your umbilical is damaged but you feel it may not be beyond repair Umbilicals International can carry out an initial inspection and advise on the likely cost to repair it.
It is possible that only a re-termination is required to get your umbilical back into service, or possibly only one element such as the video cable has to be replaced and re-terminated.
When a diving umbilical is supplied for inspection/repair we recommend that the hoses always be checked as this is the life critical link and a saving here is not one worth taking the chance on. |
